    Every puppy is examined by a licensed veterinarian and issued a Florida State Health Certificate, certifying health, vaccinations, and fitness for adoption and travel.

    One Year Coverage

    Limited health guarantee for one (1) calendar year covering life-threatening congenital or hereditary defects that significantly impact quality of life.

    Terms of Guarantee

    Activation of Guarantee

    To activate this guarantee, the Buyer must take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian for a comprehensive wellness exam within fourteen (14) calendar days of receiving the puppy. A copy of the examination report must be retained by the Buyer as proof.

    Failure to complete this exam within 14 days will void this guarantee.

    Scope of Coverage

    This guarantee covers only diagnosed, life-threatening congenital or hereditary conditions that:

    • Are determined to have been present at birth, and
    • Are confirmed in writing by two (2) independent, licensed veterinarians, unaffiliated with each other or the Buyer.

    If such a defect is confirmed, Platinum Pups of Miami will offer a replacement puppy of equal value, subject to availability.

    No refunds or reimbursements for veterinary costs will be provided under any circumstances.

    Exclusions — What Is Not Covered

    This health guarantee does not cover conditions resulting from or including:

    • Owner negligence, trauma, accidental injury, or failure to seek prompt veterinary care
    • Aspiration pneumonia, hypoglycemia, dehydration, or infections occurring after delivery
    • Parasites, including coccidia, giardia, or internal/external worms
    • Contagious diseases or infections contracted after delivery (e.g., parvovirus, distemper, kennel cough)
    • Stress-related illness during the adjustment period
    • Cosmetic conditions, including but not limited to: hernias, cherry eye, underbite, or misaligned teeth
    • Reproductive issues, retained testicles, patellar luxation, open fontanels
    • Any condition resulting from vaccines, medications, or procedures administered after the puppy leaves our care
    • Breed-specific risks common in micro/teacup dogs, including collapsed trachea, dental issues, or fragile bones

    Veterinary Care & Buyer Responsibilities

    By purchasing a puppy, the Buyer agrees to:

    • Provide proper nutrition, safe housing, appropriate supervision, and prompt veterinary care
    • Avoid overexertion, rough handling, unsupervised interactions, or exposure to high-risk environments during the adjustment period
    • Acknowledge that toy and micro breeds require extra attention and rapid intervention at any sign of illness

    Once the puppy has left our care, all risk and responsibility transfer to the Buyer. Platinum Pups of Miami is not responsible for any veterinary costs incurred by the Buyer.

    Waiver of Refund

    This health guarantee applies solely to the provision of a replacement puppy as outlined above. No monetary refunds shall be issued under any circumstances. All replacements are subject to availability and are provided at the sole discretion of Platinum Pups of Miami.

    Legal Acknowledgment

    By purchasing a puppy from Platinum Pups of Miami, the Buyer agrees to all terms and conditions of this Health Guarantee.

    This agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
